What is DTEK Grids?
DTEK Grids develops and operates electricity distribution businesses across the city of Kyiv and the Kyiv, Odesa, Dnipropetrovsk, and Donetsk regions of Ukraine.
DTEK Grids brings together the following Distribution System Operators (DSOs): DTEK Kyiv Grids, DTEK Kyiv Regional Grids, DTEK Dnipro Grids, DTEK Odesa Grids, and DTEK High Voltage.
Two other Distribution System Operators within DTEK Group – DTEK Donetsk Grids and DTEK Energougol ENE – are managed by the parent company DTEK Eastern Grids.
DSOs deliver electricity from the transmission network to end consumers, operate and maintain distribution infrastructure, connect new customers and generation facilities, and support the reliable functioning of local power systems.
The company is advancing the digital transformation of distribution networks through the adoption of innovative technologies and international best practices, enhancing service reliability and grid resilience.

DTEK’ distribution system operators distribute electricity to approximately 5.2 million homes and businesses in Kyiv, Kyiv region, Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk and Odesa regions, helping power communities, industries, and critical infrastructure.
How is DTEK Grids strengthening the resilience of Ukraine’s energy infrastructure?
Since the start of the full-scale invasion, DTEK’ DSOs have restored more than 11,000 energy facilities damaged by hostilities. The company continues to invest in grid modernization, automation, and equipment replacement to improve reliability and accelerate recovery after disruptions. Since the start of the full-scale war, DTEK’ DSOs have invested approximately €450 million in electricity distribution grids.

The company plays a key role in restoring electricity supply to communities affected by attacks and supporting the country’s economic recovery. Since 2022, DTEK’ DSOs have restored electricity supply for households more than 46 million times after russian attacks and continue rebuilding damaged infrastructure across the regions where it operates.
Is DTEK Grids open to international partnerships?
Yes. DTEK Grids actively cooperates with international financial institutions, governments, technology providers, and equipment manufacturers. Current partnerships include collaboration with GE Vernova as part of a grant provided by the French Government to support the construction of Ukraine’s first digital substation, as well as cooperation with leading European and global organizations to modernize Ukraine’s electricity distribution grids.
